This mixtape is some that I have wanted to try for quite sometime now. It's experimental and is out of the norm so, I encourage everyone to give it a listen with an open mind and ear. It's not meant to be easy listening but rather to provide the speech samples with just enough character and sonic depth to translate the idea's of the speaker. (In this case, Malcolm x).

I decided to try this experiment out with speech samples of Malcolm X, who is one of my role models and one of the greatest men of the civil rights movement. In terms of the underlying beats, I turned to a producer who goes by the name of 'DviousMindZ' whom I believe has put out some of the most emotive yet simple beatapes in the past decade. He is credited with ALL of the beats and I simply played the role of the mad scientist who messed around, chopped and screwed with the beats and vocal samples to put together the album.
